Erinn Sensenig is a New York–based soprano and voice teacher active as soloist and professional choral singer. Skilled across genres, her performance focus is early music and the music of living composers.
Recent solo engagements include Brahms’s Ein Deutsches Requiem and Poulenc’s Gloria with Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church Chamber Choir, Bach’s Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen (BWV 51) with National Chamber Players, Schubert’s Mass in G with Musica Viva NY, and Ruth Watson Henderson’s From Darkness to Light (recorded for upcoming release). She is also featured as soprano soloist on Musica Viva NY’s latest album, And Crimson Roses Once Again Be Fair, released on the Naxos label in 2024. Other notable solo performances include Vivaldi’s Gloria with All Souls NYC, Mozart’s Coronation Mass and Solemn Vespers, Bach’s Magnificat, Rossini’s Petite messe solennelle, Fauré’s Requiem, and the world premiere of Anthony Maglione’s Dust Bowl with Verdigris Ensemble.
In New York, Erinn performs regularly with the Clarion Choir, Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Chamber Choir, Musica Sacra, Musica Viva NY, Voices of Ascension, and Bard Summerscape opera chorus, St. Thomas Consort, Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine, along with music programs at other leading churches and temples. She is a staff singer and Artistic Operations Manager at All Souls NYC, where she also manages concert production for Musica Viva NY.
Prior to her work in New York, Erinn was based in Dallas, TX, performing as soloist and ensemble member with Verdigris Ensemble, Incarnatus, Vox Humana, Orpheus Chamber Singers, Dallas Chamber Choir, and Highland Park Chorale. As a staff singer at Church of the Incarnation, she participated in a week-long choral residency at York Minster in York, UK. A graduate of Westminster Choir College, Erinn performed with the New York Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, and Vienna Philharmonic, and appeared in residence at the Spoleto Festival USA in staged productions including John Adams’s El Niño and Janáček’s Kát’a Kabanová. She has pursued specialized training in historical performance with the New York Continuo Collective, Virginia Baroque Academy, and Tafelmusik Baroque Summer Institute.
Erinn is dedicated to programming that bridges historical and contemporary voices, with a particular interest in the Baroque and in collaborations with living composers that expand the boundaries of the classical music tradition.
